Re-Opening Plans 2020-2021 (Updated 5/29/2020)

DISTRICT WITHDRAWALS: Families who need to withdraw their students from the district may now submit their withdrawal form electronically. Please submit one form per student. Please note, if verification of enrollment into the new school is not received within 10 SCHOOL DAYS, the district is required to notify the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and the Geauga County Juvenile Judge. (Ohio Revised Code 3321.13(B)). To withdraw, select the building of attendance:  JESCMS |CHS


NEW! SUMMER SCHOOL: Online summer school courses are being offered to scholars as an opportunity to repeat a subject in which their achievement was unsatisfactory and they are in need of credit recovery. Classes start June 8 and are open to students in any district.  |  DETAILS

OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR 2020-2021: The application period for open enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year begins May 1 and runs through August 1. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are encouraging as many families as possible to fill out the application form online in lieu of coming into the Board Office. If you are unable to access the online form or need assistance, you may come into the Board Office. Once the applications are received and reviewed/approved by the Superintendent, an enrollment packet will be mailed to you. Following the completion of the enrollment packet, you will need to contact Kristie Steyer (kristie.steyer@cardinalschools.org) in the Board Office to schedule an appointment to finish the enrollment process. Instructions on this will be included in the enrollment packet that is mailed to you upon acceptance.  |  APPLICATION


NEW! MUSICAL REFUNDS: It was with heavy hearts that Cardinal High School decided to officially cancel our spring musical The Addams Family. If you would like a refund (full or partial) of your ticket purchase for this event, please click this link to complete a google form. The option to donate all or a portion of your purchase is also available within the same google form, please follow the prompts for this option. PANDEMIC ELECTRONIC BENEFITS TRANSFER (P-EBT) UPDATE: Ohio has been approved to operate Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT). Administered by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, the P-EBT program provides additional monetary assistance to households with children eligible for free or reduced-price meals dealing with school closures.  | FLYER
