Mandatory Alternative Instruction Period in place until Friday, May 1 | Meal Service to Continue until May 1; No meals on 4/10 or 4/13 | Apr. 6: Teacher Work Day, No School for Students | Apr. 7: Mandatory Alternative Instruction Period Resumes | Apr. 8: BOE Meeting, 5:00 p.m. via Zoom | Apr. 10: No School - Good Friday | Apr. 13: No School - Teacher Comp Day | Apr. 14: Mandatory Alternative Learning Period resumes | All after school events/activities/sports are cancelled/postponed until further notice | All district buildings are closed with the exception of JES to pick up meals from 8:30-10:30 a.m. M-F and the BOE which is open from 8-12 with limited staffing.

Alternate Meal Options

Families, should you need additional assistance with meals, please consider utilizing one of the following options:

Geauga County JFS – please contact Sara Shininger at 440-285-9141 x1263 to make arrangements to receive food if you are in need.

Claridon Community Helps – offering hot meals on M, W, F and will also provide bagged lunches on Monday and Wednesday for you to eat on Tuesday and Thursday. Call 440-321-5596 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to register for meals.  |  FLYER

Parkman Congregational Church – offering to-go dinners at their church located at 18265 Madison Rd., Middlefield (Parkman Township), from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays beginning March 20. There will be a drive through set up for families to get their meals to-go. They are asking for donations, but there is no charge for the meals.
