CCP INFORMATIONAL MEETING: For those students and parents unable to attend the information session on January 28 we have provided a link to the presentation and the slide show here. CCP is for students currently in grades 6-11 that are interested in taking classes on campus, online or at the high school. STUDENT WITHDRAWALS: Families who need to withdraw their student from school, may now submit their form electronically. Verification of enrollment into the new school must be provided within 10 SCHOOL DAYS.  |  WITHDRAW FROM CMS

HUSKIE PANTRY: Help us fill our Huskie Pantry! Donation bins are available in all school offices and the BOE. Bins will also be out at all school-sponsored events.  |  HUSKIE PANTRY


FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM:  Cardinal Local Schools knows that a healthy meal helps fuel students for better learning opportunities.  Applications for Free/Reduced meals may be completed at any time throughout the school year.  A new application is required every year.  Please direct your application request to the CMS office at 440/632-0261 ext. 4001  Mrs. Tally Hostetler.

Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) Program

ENROLL NOW FOR 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR: Registration for the 2021-2022 school year will be held by appointment only. Students who live within the district may enroll for the upcoming school year at any time. Incoming Kindergarten students must be 5 on or before August 1, 2021 to enroll. Call 440-632-0261 x1000 to schedule.  Families who live outside the district and wish to open enroll may do so starting May 1 (see above).  | ENROLLMENT PACKET


OPEN ENROLLMENT: Open enrollment applications for the 2021-2022 school year will be available electronically beginning May 1, 2021. Open enrollment is for students who do not live in the Cardinal Local School District but would like to attend our schools for the upcoming school year. SUBSTITUTES NEEDED: The District is looking to hire non-teaching substitutes for all positions (cafeteria cook & cashier, custodial, maintenance, paraprofessional, secretarial, transportation aides & drivers.) Apply at the BOE.  | DETAILS


DISTRICT WITHDRAWALS: Families who need to withdraw their students from the district may now submit their withdrawal form electronically. Please submit one form per student. Please note, if verification of enrollment into the new school is not received within 10 SCHOOL DAYS, the district is required to notify the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and the Geauga County Juvenile Judge. (Ohio Revised Code 3321.13(B)). To withdraw, select the building of attendance:  JESCMS |CHS


PANDEMIC ELECTRONIC BENEFITS TRANSFER (P-EBT) UPDATE: Ohio has been approved to operate Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT). Administered by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, the P-EBT program provides additional monetary assistance to households with children eligible for free or reduced-price meals dealing with school closures.  | FLYER
