STUDENT WITHDRAWALS: Families who need to withdraw their student from school, may now submit their form electronically. Verification of enrollment into the new school must be provided within 10 SCHOOL DAYS.  |  WITHDRAW FROM CMS

YEARBOOKS: Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the printing of our yearbooks was delayed. It is our understanding the factory has started printing again, however, it may still be 7-8 weeks before we see our yearbooks. We will continue to keep families updated when they arrive! IMMUNIZATION INFORMATION: All immunization records were due by Friday, September 20, 2019. 7th grade students must have a TDAP and meningococcal vaccination and 12th graders must have a second meningococcal booster. The Geauga County Health Department offers clinics in Middlefield and surrounding areas for those who may need it.  | Immunization Summary

FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM:  Cardinal Local Schools knows that a healthy meal helps fuel students for better learning opportunities.  Applications for Free/Reduced meals may be completed at any time throughout the school year.  A new application is required every year.  Please direct your application request to the CMS office at 440/632-0261 ext. 4001  Mrs. Tally Hostetler.

Re-Opening Plans 2020-2021 (Updated 7/3/2020 with state guidance)

NEW! ENROLL FOR AT HOME LEARNING: We are asking families who wish to have their child participate in remote learning in lieu of coming into the buildings during the 2020-2021 school year to sign up for the program by Friday, July 24, 2020. This decision will be for the first semester only and remain in effect for the entire first semester. Remote learning classes will be taught by Cardinal teachers during regular school hours, attendance will be taken, students will be expected to sign in during their class time. Additional information will be forthcoming once plans are finalized following the sign up period. Governor Mike DeWine announces schools can reopen in the fall with precautions. Guidelines include assessing for symptoms, hand washing, sanitation and deep cleaning, social distancing, face coverings: mandatory for staff, strongly recommended for students in grades 3-12.  |  STATE GUIDELINES

NEW! DISNEY REFUNDS: Refunds for the HS Band Disney Trip are being processed this week and will be mailed by this Friday, July 10th. Please check your infinite campus account to make sure your address is current.  If you need to make a change, contact the Board office as soon as possible at (440) 632-0261 ext. 1003.

OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR 2020-2021: The application period for open enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year begins May 1 and runs through August 1. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are encouraging as many families as possible to fill out the application form online in lieu of coming into the Board Office. If you are unable to access the online form or need assistance, you may come into the Board Office. Once the applications are received and reviewed/approved by the Superintendent, an enrollment packet will be mailed to you. Following the completion of the enrollment packet, you will need to contact Kristie Steyer (kristie.steyer@cardinalschools.org) in the Board Office to schedule an appointment to finish the enrollment process. Instructions on this will be included in the enrollment packet that is mailed to you upon acceptance.  |  APPLICATION
