Principal: Mr. Michael Chaffee (michael.chaffee@cardinalschools.org)

I would like to welcome you to the A.J.Jordak Elementary School’s Principal’s Page.  I want to take this opportunity to share with you some information about our school.  We are a K-4 Building that also has the pleasure to house a Pre-School, S.T.A.R.S. Program, and a B.R.C. (Building Resilient Children) Program all sponsored by the Educational Service Center of the Western Reserve.  Collectively we proudly educate around 350 students a day.  We are thrilled to have that opportunity each day.  Our students are referred to as “Huskie Pups” as they begin their educational journeys that will culminate in earning a Diploma from Cardinal High School in the 2030’s before setting out to conquer their world.  Our staff works diligently to inspire each student to work towards and achieve his or her best.  Everyone works very hard to build a Jordak Family approach to learning that is built on our core belief of Huskie P.R.I.D.E..  Jordak Huskies are  Productive, Respectful, Involved, Determined, and Empathetic.  What’s Inside?  HUSKIE PRIDE!

The Jordak Curriculum is rooted deeply in improving literacy in each student.  We believe that all learning is built on the foundation of reading, understanding, applying, and creating.  Our students are led by passionate and devoted teachers who care deeply about each student.  I believe strongly in the value of a school where everyone knows you.  Our students are kind and truly care about each other.  This is really a neat place to be a part of each day.  We are proud of the fact that each of our students has a chromebook to enhance learning.  Many of these were provided by the local communities that make up our district. We are very grateful for the support of local governments and families.

If you are a current student or community member THANK YOU  for your support and involvement in our school family.  If you are interested in enrolling at Jordak Elementary I would like to invite you to visit us and learn more about our amazing school.  I’m confident that you will experience an energized and engaged school community where we care about each other.  You will probably also hear some laughter and experience some joy because we think those things are pretty important.  Jordak is an elementary school where we work hard, play hard, and take care of each other.  We believe that great communities create great schools and great schools produce great communities!  Our goal is to constantly improve and make our school, community, and world a better place!

Go Huskies (Pups)!
