(Middlefield, OH)- On Thursday morning, Miss Dodds' Communication Class sat down and visited with the Veterans that attended breakfast at Cardinal High School. Following breakfast, Cardinal Local Schools honored the local Veterans and their families with a brief assembly. There, the Cardinal Huskies Marching Band performed, along with a special performance of the High School Cardinaires Group and the Huskies Choir which is made up of 3rd and 4th graders at Jordak Elementary.
Ava Filla, a student at the Cardinal Middle School also read a passage that she had written earlier in the school year about what the Veterans mean to her and her classmates. Placemats, signs, and homemade cards were made by students K-12 and breakfast was provided by the Board of Education members, while it was prepped and prepared by our kitchen staff in the food management department.
