Parents and Families of Cardinal Local Schools,
As we continue through our plan for the restructuring of our district facilities, the goal is to continue the process in which it is being communicated to district families in a timely and transparent manner. With that being said, the Board of Education office approved the following facility upgrades/maintenance at their December 11th meeting:
Cardinal Elementary School Facility:
Installation of sound panels as well as two windows in the new Cardinal Elementary School classrooms
HVAC Chiller replacements to ensure air conditioning throughout the entire building
Installation of migrating the Carbon dioxide(CO2) detection into our current Gilmore security system. This will allow any hazard that would be detected in our buildings to alert our Emergency Management organizations. This upgrade will be installed in all district buildings (CES, Jr/Sr High, & Board Office)
The following renovations will begin at the Board Office over Winter Break:
Board room painting and room organization of board table and audience seating
Pupil Service office rearrangement and office movement of the Public Relations department
Additional renovations were approved for the Board Office over summer break:
Board carpet replacement
Board front entrance concrete replacement
Pupil Service department office renovation completion
Superintendent Administrative Assistant location modification
Our communication team continues to work diligently to provide updates for our district families. The team will strive to continue to provide updates that can be found on the district's website, emails to our stakeholders, and/or letters sent home with your student.
Huskie Pride,
Jack Cunningham, Superintendent of Cardinal Local Schools
